Instagram has some bomb new features & epics hacks we want to share with you! In fact, most people have Instagram but don't know how to use all the features. With all these new features, we're going to show you how to spice things up in your IG stories!
1. Filters After The Fact
Now this first tip may seem obvious, but I can assure you it's not. Did you know that if you go and find an existing video or photo you can still add filters to it? And yes this still works even though you didn't film it in Instagram. Also, it will still pick up your face so you can still use face filters, which is really cool.
2. Clipboard & Copy
Now this feature is awesome if you want to create a quick collage in Instagram stories. For example, all you have to do is take a picture using a solid background color. Once you've done that, click the text icon on the right hand of the screen & hold down the screen. Select Paste & it will actually paste the screen shotted image that you took. You can minimize these & place them anywhere! If you press the text button again, press down & select clipboard, you can choose all the other images you want in your collage as well. (This is a hack for the android users).
3. Creators Profile
Most of know the difference between business & personal accounts by now. However, there is now an option for a Creator Profile. Head to the Instagram Setting Button, Click on Account, scroll down and you will see switch to creator account. Clicking that you will see the 3 things a creator account has/does & you can then click next & make one! Next, select which category you fall under & click next to finish up. Now you can access the new creator settings, such as an inbox split. Primary / General, which is nice to organize messages a bit better. Also, you get more audience insights compared to a business profile.
4. Online Creator Studio
Did you know there's an Instagram Online Creative Studio? All you do is type in "Facebook Creator Studio" and login. At the top you'll see the facebook & instagram logo. Click on the IG logo & login to your account. Once you're in you'll be able to see posts stats & analytics on all posts & stories in real time. It's so helpful & I love that there is a laptop option.
5. Glowing Emoji
Okay guys, now check this out! You can actually make emojis glow. So, all you do is select the emoji you want, then choose the color, and from there change the font to NEON. Then just click done, and you will see your emoji glowing. Play with this one & have a lot of fun.
6. What You're Tagged In
Choose what you're tagged in. If you click the icon on the side of your grid, you'll find all the images you're tagged in. If you scroll down those are all the posts you're tagged in. However, you can actually decide wether you want those images shown on your profile or not. If you head over to settings, and click Privacy & Security, under there you'll see the option photos & videos of you. If you click on that you can toggle the option. And if you click hide, you can actually choose to remove the images that have been added of you.
